My name is Alexandra and here are a few things about me...
- I play piano, violin, and guitar. Some of my favorite pieces, one for each instrument are,
Etudes, op.25: No. 5 in E minor by Chopin,
Violin Concerto in D Minor, Op.47: 1. Allegro moderato by Sibelius,
and Etude by Frantz Casseus
- I enjoy thrifting and antiquing, currently my most desired items are cameo brooches, pretty jewelry boxes, pleeted skirts, and ceramic decor.
- I am an avid journaler and a try hard poetry writer. I have the crippling fear the microplastics will one day be so much I am diagnosed with young-onset dementia, in an effort to preserve my cognitive ability I book-keep everything I experience and wish to remember.
- I enjoy a wide variety of music genres. Some of my favorites include folk, jazz, new wave, classical, and indie.
- I enjoy book collecting, especially books from classic authors. As of now, I'm trying to get more into playwrights, religions impact on the individual and society, and anything biology related.
- I like putting music on my record player, sitting in my needlepoint chair, and staring out into the expansive world of hurry. My great-grandma told me her mother used to listen to sad music and cry in a chair frequently, I believe I'm keeping tradition alive when all I do is sit and think, think, think.
